Question / Help DxTory doesn't show in Devices List

I follow the tutorials on how to set up DxTory and OBS together, but when they say to click on Video Capture Device and Select DxTory from the list of Devices it's blank and there is nothing there.

Why are you using Dxtory?

I've tried doing just straight up game capture and the resolution always messes up, for some reason it cuts off like an inch and a half all the way around the video. I've used it with DxTory before and it worked great. But I reformatted my pc and now I'm trying to set it back up.

Did you try the "Edit Scene" button to properly shape/position the Game Capture source? There's really no reason whatsoever to go through the difficulty of setting up Dxtory when OBS already does the same thing.

Chances are you accidentally nudged the scene out of place or, for whatever reason, it defaulted to that position so you just need to nudge it back. There's also the "Stretch image to screen" option which may help? Not really sure.. never needed to try it haha

I tried both of those things and it would fix it but when I opened my game back up it would reset to the center... Is it not possible to use DxTory with OBS anymore?

DXTory only works in 32 bit OBS.

Pretty sure I've been using the 32 one... I'm using the application in the main folder not the "64bit" server.
