Hey.
I need help with making OBS working smooth for me. I watched a lot of video and read tons of post how to set settings to obtain the best performance for recording to file but still I experience video freeze.
I'm using laptop with AMD switchable graphic so I can't choose my dedicate graphic card in OBS options (as I understand Samsung Support, Intel HD 4000 work together with AMD Redeon 7730M when enable high performance) - I added OBS to AMD Control Center as high performance. Btw, game capture gives me black screen so I'm using window capture for windowed game.
For games, i play on full details and i don't occur any fps drops even with flash explosion in whole screen but OBS had a lot of lost frames (even to ~20%) so I lowered settings in game and in OBS. I was able to eliminate lost frames but those duplicate make me cry. Can't record video because I lost most important content. Would appreciate any help with making OBS work for me. I trying to record Path of Exile.
