I want to duck my desktop audio via the compressor plugin sourcing my mic audio, but the compressor plugin on the desktop audio is always on and is thus always compressing the desktop audio, just compressing it more when I speak. How can I only compress the desktop audio when I speak instead of there always being compression?

Apply the special ducking settings mentioned on the bottom of the compressor help page. Only these settings create the ducking behavior of the compressor filter.

Thank you! I was following that guide, but made the mistake of reducing output gain inside the default compressor plugin. Apparently this was my problem.Apply the special ducking settings mentioned on the bottom of the compressor help page. Only these settings create the ducking behavior of the compressor filter.
