Hi,

I have a question regarding dual PC with my setup.
Gaming:
i5 4690k (OC to 4.2)
8GB DDR3
970GTX
Win10

playing something like CSGO and other CPU intensive games. and streaming doesn't seem to like each other unless I turn off 1 cpu off my game. I end up losing frames of the game but the sacrifice is worth the stream otherwise I get "High Encoding". I know it's not my OBS settings because other games don't do this.

I was contemplating on getting a external capture card anyways because I go to a friend's place and we want to start making recording of console gaming and I do not want to just bring my entire rig with an internal capture card with me every time.

I have a laptop with:
i7 4700MQ (it's 2.4)
32GB DDR3
770M GTX
Win10

extra info it has 4 usb3.0, hdmi out, and vga (for some reason).

So I was thinking it would be a better option for me to run the stream off my laptop. I know getting a external card is a less desirable option due to passthrough lag. But I believe I can fix it with the sound offset options in OBS.

Here is my Webcam and Audio setup to my gaming pc
Zoom H1 microphone (USB)
Astro Mixamp that's connected via USB with a 3.5 mm headphones going into the mixamp.
c525 Webcam (USB).

So my question is, do you think it's a better option for me to stream it off my laptop via CaptureCard?
Whether or not if you think it's a better option or not, how would I go on about doing this? I will require my microphone to stay on my Gaming PC since I use it to talk to people ingame or my friends through other Voip services.

If you require any additional information, let me know.

Thanks!
