Dual recording + custom recording area

I've been wanting to record a game-play footage while also having a separate recording of myself on another file to later add in as a separate upload like 2 versions of one video, with and without commentary. The only work around i've found to this is to open up two obs applications and have them both record at the same time, but this takes up a good 20-26% chunk of my CPU usage.

What would also be great in this situation would be customize-able recording area during and before a recording session. Being able to change the amount of black area around a video would greatly help editing the camera footage in later. EDIT: Solved

That's actually where the problem comes from, if i crop out a 1080p 16:9 video and make it something less, there remains a black area with nothing on it that also gets recorded. That black area is what's annoying to edit out every time and also creates a stretched video which looks bad.

You can set Base (Canvas) Resolution to your cropped size, before any cropping. Why not?
Read Using Layers and Application Settings / Video in the help guide, there are pictures inside.
