Question / Help Dual PC Stream

Running into a problem and I was hopping someone would be able to help me out.

I have two computers, one is for gaming, and the other is for streaming.

My gaming pc has a 1440p monitor which is an issue with the avermedia capture card, since they can only stream at 1080p, what I am doing is using the projector option and this all works, my streaming computer pics up the picture and all is well.

The problem I am having is that sound is only picked up on both computers when I use the avermedia audio device, but that isn't something that I can hook my headphones up and use. I have a mixer set up with my mic so I should have all the hardware that is needed, but I am not sure what else I can do and I have exhausted my abilities to no avail. All I want is for the streaming pc to pick up my gaming pc's audio.

Thanks for the help.

Options to get your audio:
1.) Have your avermedia source set to output audio to desktop, then plug in your headphones to the stream PC to hear the game sound (won't work with delayed USB 2.0 devices)
2.) If audio is being output via jack, then you could probably buy some sort of splitter for it I'm guessing.
3.) Use VAC on the game PC and see if you can make it clone the audio output somehow so you can output both to the stream PC and to the headphones at the same time.

There are probably more options but I can't think of them at the moment.

You may want to check out something like virtual audio cable. Set it as your default audio output then run 2 audio repeaters: one to send to the HDMI device or whatever is hooked up to the capture card and the other to send to your headset/speakers.
