Question / Help Dual PC Stream Audio/Video questions

Hey guys,

I have to decided to make another pc that is a dedicated streaming computer. I had a couple questions on what I would need to get/do to make everything run smoother.

My current headphones are sennheiser pc 360 and my soundcard is asus xonar essence st. I have two monitors, one a 144hz and the other a 60 hz(this will be used by stream pc).

I was going to keep my dvi to my main 144 hz gaming monitor and then hopefully send audio and video out of my evga 780 gtx via hdmi at 60 hz to a capture card (one that will work for this) in the stream pc. I saw that I could clone the output and hopefully do what I mentioned above.

I have an AT2020 XLR that is connected to a Focusrite scarlett solo. That connects to my computer to usb. My headset has a mic that maybe I could use for in game voice or teamspeak 3 if I run it on my gaming pc. I do not really care if ts3 goes to my stream pc.

It seems from what I read I would need to get a mixer and I've read multiple threads on everything but I felt it might be easier to just ask. I plan on streaming at 720p60fps.

I am pretty much looking for the easiest way to get this to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Matt

I experienced mediocre results when cloning my monitor (to actually go to a capture card) at a speed slower than my gaming monitor's framerate. It always felt like my gaming framerate was the slower of the two even when everything said it was faster. I got a better capture card so that I could send the same framerate to the cloned screen as my gaming monitor and that problem went away.

This reddit thread seems promising however: https://www.reddit.com/r/Twitch/comments/36obz8/144hz_monitor_display_port_60hz_limited_capture
