Dual PC set up or Single PC?

Hello. I have a laptop and a gaming pc. My laptop has a GTX 1050/i5-8300H and my gaming pc has an RTX 3070/i7-10700. I was wondering if I should continue to use my NDI dual pc set up, or if I should just switch to my gaming pc. My reasoning is even running games, my gaming PC will allow me to stream OBS at better quality, but I am not sure if that's true. Any help is appreciated!
 
20/30-series NVENC delivers quality on-par with x264 Slow.
10-series NVENC quality is somewhere between Medium and Fast.

Set up correctly, you should see ZERO in-game impact from using NVENC. The 20/30 series have essentially made 2PC setups obsolete, aside from a few edge-case scenarios. I'd advise just simplifying to streaming direct from the gaming PC, your encode quality will improve as well.
