Question / Help Dual PC/laptop Stream Setup

Hello, I have been trying to setup up a laptop to capture the content on to gaming PC, but running into a lot of audio issue. I currently having the Avermedia live gamer portable to capture the gaming PC. I am really confused about the setup with the audio pass-through.

Setup:
I have a HDMI cable(that came with the avermedia portable) hooked up to my Graphics card(GTX 650ti) output and in to the Avermedia input. Then I have a HDMI w/ audio pass-through from the Avermedia out to the laptop.

I am pretty sure this setup is correct because the laptop does pick up the gaming PC but no audio is being transmitted from the Gaming PC to the Laptop.

Audio:
For the audio, I have a media hub such as Amazon that connects both my headsets and my speakers and outputs 3.5mm live sound and mic sound connected to my gaming PC. Now I am trying to get the audio to pass-through the HDMI to the laptop. This is the part I do not understand to do.

Playback devices:
I have my speakers set to default.

Then in the recording settings, I have the Stereo Mix set to Default and within I have it to listen and to playback through the Avermedia_HD-4. Same goes for my Microphone-- Have it to listen and to playback through the Avermedia_HD-4.


Streaming Box:
Within the Avermedia Recentral settings, I currently have:

and in the OBS audio settings, I have the Desktop Audio device: Default Devices; laptop mic disabled.




With all this said, I'm currently getting no audio to pass through to the laptop and showing on OBS. I have done many trail and error with switching default devices and their Playback through devices and no hope. If I do set the Avermedia HDMI within the Playback devices on the Gaming Computer, sound is pass-through to the laptop but no sound on the Gaming PC. My goal is to get the audio to heard on the Gaming PC and also passed to the laptop.

I'm not sure if there's an ideal solution to your problem that doesn't involve using a program like virtual audio cable to do that internally for you. If you weren't capturing via a USB 2.0 device (that *is* a USB 2.0 device right?), then you'd be able to connect your headphones/speakers to the stream PC and play your game that way, but if it is a USB 2.0 device, then that audio will be delayed, and that solution won't be viable.

Basically, the only easy solution I can see at the moment is probably VAC on the gaming computer at this point. Another alternative could be to somehow get some audio splitter cable/device to allow you to feed the audio in to both your headphones and stream computer, though I don't really know of any such thing off the top of my head (though they almost assuredly exist)
