Question / Help Dual PC Audio

i have searched and searched without any luck on finding an answer.

essentially i have a dual pc setup, one of which uses the AverMedia Live Gamer HD.
im wanting to run a single XLR mic between the two so that the stream hears as well as mumble/ts/ingame comms on the gaming pc.

as of now, the setup looks like:
WW21vhn.jpg

this gets the sound of GAME, VOIP, & MY MIC on the stream via the USB Audio Codec set as the default playback device on the stream pc. the problem im running into is that the XLR mic is not able to be heard over VOIP, in-game comms, etc. on the gaming pc.

is there a way to "streamline" (only) the signal of the mic from the stream pc back to the game pc?
i know i could always just use my headset mic plugged into the game rig for that or just load mumble onto the steam rig, but if i dont have to, id rather not. also the in-game comms wouldn't possible with the latter. o.O

any suggestions or ideas?

I would just get a modmic and plug that into your gaming PC. While there's probably a way to do it using a bunch of wires or virtual audio cable or something, I personally prefer to keep everything as simple as possible. Modmics are pretty cool and while they don't sound as good as a USB mic lIke the snowball, it won't take up any desk space. Sound quality doesnt really matter anyway. I've never come across someone in game chat or in teamspeak that called me out for not having a studio grade mic :p

The way I do it it pretty much the same way. I just add an extra cable and hook it up to AUX send which is connected to line in on my gaming PC.
