Question / Help Dual Monitor OBS Issue

Okay, so I'm having the weirdest issue.
I have a dual monitor setup, and I put OBS on one monitor and my game on the other. For some reason, out of the blue, my games have started to get REALLY laggy when I use OBS. I was confused obviously, so I pulled the OBS screen over so that both it and my game were on the same screen.
And you know what? My game stopped stuttering and ran at normal FPS again.
So, for some reason, when my OBS window and game window are on seperate monitors, it causes the game feed to stutter and look awful -- but is completely fine if they're on the same monitor.
Anyone have any ideas?

Also, make sure both monitors are connected to the same GPU. Have seen this sort of thing when someone has one monitor connected to their discrete GPU, and the other connected to the iGPU for some reason.

They're both connected to the same GPU. I'm wondering if it's a driver issue because the problem started right after I updated my nvidia to the latest driver.

Quite possible; recent nvidia drivers have somewhat notorious stability issues after The Division release (including physical damage to GPUs). Try a clean-uninstall and installing the older drivers to test.

Tried to downgrade to a previous driver. It DID make it a little better, but the issue is still there. For now, I can keep OBS and the game on the same monitor since I play in windowed mode, but I really would like to find a way to rectify it.
