Question / Help Dropping kbs switching servers?

So this has been happening for a couple weeks now. It seems like every time I stream randomly my computer will drop and fluctuate in how much its uploading.

I tried turning stream on and off and that never worked but then I tried switching servers to another one thats close and it worked fine for the rest of the night.

My problem is that no matter what server I use either one will eventually start to lag and then I ha ve to switch to another one to fix it and it's a little frustrating to have to keep shutting down stream and restarting it on a different server to stop lag.

Ive tested my speeds and everything is perfectly fine but for some reason this keeps happening.

Thoughts?

I am having the exact same issue. This did not happen a few weeks ago.

The same settings and hardware and the connection worked fine for a year and a half and now it's suddenly having problems.

It will randomly drop to 0KBs it will come back on then drop then come back on then drop. When I lower my bit rate to 500, the same thing. I've tried every North American Twitch server, Youtube, and Restream and absolutely get the same results.

I've closely examined all my hardware even swapped out hardware that I know works on other connections just to get the same result. I've gone directly to the modem and even did a full clean install of windows with only OBS installed on it.

I eventually tried other streaming software to just end with the same issue.

I have no issues with doing video calls on discord or even Google but streaming seems to be the only issue and I know my connection is decent enough to handle 1080p and 30fps (I've even lowered the resolution to test it only to have the exact same results)

What service provider are you with? If we're on the same provider is there a chance that its just our provider is messing up somewhere?

EDIT:
I've done everything and more suggested in this thread.

I'm well aware of the sticky. Could there be a new issue we're not seeing?

Im with spectrum and i tried using a vpn and it worked for a couple hours but then the vpn started being super laggy and after i switched off the vpn i was fine. Im just sick and tired of this problem to be honest
