Question / Help Dropping Frames

Dropped frames are a result of network connectivity issues. You can try some different Twitch servers or lower your bit rate, but there's not much else you can do. Make sure your network isn't being used up elsewhere, such as with large downloads or something.

I have checked around for anything that might be going on (anything running in the background that might be sucking up bandwidth or w/e) and there was absolutely nothing going on , no downloads or anything .

The weird part is that this happens at the most random times. It is running smoothly for 10-15 minutes and then all of a sudden I see I'm dropping frames and the stream gets really choppy. Any other ideas ?

I have streamed with that setup before for hours at a time without a single dropped frame and absolutely nothing has changed . I would imagine my connection is more than capable of handling this.

Im having the same issue too m an so it's not just you. And I'm pretty sure my connection is fine. It could be the Twitch servers are being bad.

Twitch has been futzing around with their infrastructure a decent amount recently, so there could be some hiccups until things settle down.

I have played around with the bitrate and buffersize and dropped them to 1500 down from 3000 kb/s.

It seems that the problem has been resolved for now and I hope it stays that way . Just posting this so that if anyone has a similar problem can just try this.

Thank you for the replies!
