Question / Help Dropping frames with a 30mb

Hi guys, I was able to stream Bloodborne and I regularly stream Hearthstone without any issues.

Recently I honestly don't know what I messed up in my setup but i haven't been able to stream these past couple of days because of frames dropping, can someone please help me figure out what i can fix?

I supposedly have 30mb's upload and download so that wouldn't be an issue I believe.

I've read so many things and tried so many things and I just can't get it to work, i contacted my ISP and supposedly it's ok in their end, i'm desperate to be honest.

Thanks for your help.

- Try connecting to another Twitch server to see if its a Mexico issue
Next closest is Dallas, Texas at Live-dfw.Twitch.TV

Thank you I will run some tests. Server was set to automatic, is there a way to know which server I was previously using?

Hi Arreador,

Yes, you can look in your current OBS log for something like:

18:36:56.970: ==== Recording Start ===============================================
18:36:56.970: [ffmpeg muxer: 'adv_file_output'] Writing file 'D:/Stream 1TB/2018-01-24 18-36-56.mkv'...
18:36:56.979: [rtmp stream: 'adv_stream'] Interface: Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller (ethernet, 1000 mbps)
18:36:57.796: [rtmp stream: 'adv_stream'] Connection to rtmp://live-qro.twitch.tv/app successful

Then, lookup the Twitch ingest server that matches here:
http://twitchstatus.com/

Oh god , previously it wasn't using the Mexico server i'm 99% sure. A while ago I tried manually selecting the Mexico server and i remember the connection was awful, since then i've been using automatic (streaming daily without issues).

Could it be that since the new update it's now properly sending it to the closest (and worst) server?

Anyway I think that did it, I'll be running more tests but i'm certain that's it, based on that previous experience.

I love you, seriously thanks.
