Question / Help Dropping Frames While recording Games. Not in-game but through OBS Preview

Whenever I start recording a game ex: GTA 5, DayZ, Grry's Mod. I lose frames while recording but not losing frames in-game, I've used settings other people use in youtube videos but i can't fix the fps drops. I am recording not streaming.

My Specs Are:
i7 -6700 @3.4Ghz
GTX 970 MSI Gaming 4GB
16GB Kingston HyperX FURY (Dual Channel)
ASUS H-170 PRO Motherboard

OBS Settings

Video Encoding:

Encoder - x264
Use CBR & CBR Padding - On
Quality Balance - 10
Max Bitrate - 10000kb/s
Buffer Size - 10000kbit

Audio Encoding:

Codec - AAC
Bitrate - 192
Format - 48kHz
Channel - stereo

Audio:

Audio mic sync offset - 150
That's the only thing i've changed in that feild

Advanced:

Process Priority Class - Normal
Scene Buffering Time - 700
Disable Encoding while previewing - Off
x264 CPU Preset - veryfast
Encoding Profile - main
Keyrame Interval - 2
Use CFR - On

Something in your video card appears to be causing the issue. Having a 970 and a 750ti in the same system with an i7 6700 processor limits the performance of everything. Try removing the 750ti completely and connecting all your displays to the 970.
