I'm not sure how to describe this best. But here goes
I have OBS set to NVENC (New) 1080p 30fps (tried 60fps initially and dropped it to 30 but the same issue).
99% of the time, OBS is running fine, no dropped frames, CPU and GPU sitting at 50% or less, but then occasionally either the GPU suddenly goes to 0 for a second or the CPU spikes to 100% for no apparent reason and frames drop during that time. I've also noticed that under the performance tab the Video Encoder on the GPU or at least that graph labelled "Video Encode" sits at less than 20% utilization at 30fps. Was around 30% on 60FPS.
I haven't figured out what is causing it. Possibly hardware issue?
Here are several screenshots of it, I managed to capture the task manager once while it was mid-glitch.

And here is a log file from the session.
Anyone else experienced anything similar or have any idea what's going on?
Thanks,
David
