Not sure why I am getting so many dropped frames. I am using the newest version of this program and I am using the same settings I used on Xsplit. I have 50 down and 5 up for my internet connection. i5 2500k CPU and 560 TI graphics card. Not sure why I am getting so much dropped frames. Would also like to add that audio isn't sync with the video.

I notice that frames drop more with the 64bit version then the 32bit version. (My PC is set up as 64bit)

That was probably a coincidence -- there's no functional difference between 32bit and 64bit

Rich, I'm also having a problem with the "Add Video Capture Device" It's not giving me the option to select my Vh Screen Cap. I have tried to uninstall OBS and reinstall it, no luck. As for servers, I normally select the server that has the lowest ping for me. The server closest to me has an insane high ping.

Out of curiosity, why are you using VH Screen Cap? OBS has internal software capture that uses the same techniques as VHScrCap and bypasses the whole "virtual camera" concept to provide better performance. I would strongly recommend using that (or Game Capture) instead.

Not sure why but I started getting big spikes of dropped frames at random moment, I was watching my archive and it wasn't even a high action scene. I had trouble with that before on 448 I think but lowered my settings and I was good, when I updated to 452 I started getting them again, I even lowered my bitrate again but it was the same.

Edit: To clarify, I was getting dropped frames when my bitrate was about 600 on v448a. I then put it at 500 and it fixed the problem, then when I updated it started happening again but I didn't change my bitrate. For this log the bit rate was even lower but I still got dropped frames.

Because with VH SCR CAP I know how to capture my monitor in (1600x900) and have the output 1280x720. I tried to do the same thing with the OBS software capture, but it won't capture my whole screen when I try to make the output 1280x720.

When you add a software capture source, it will initially be 1:1 the size of whatever you choose to capture (desktop, window, etc.), but you can right click the software capture source in the "Sources:" list for your scene and select "Fit to screen" from the menu, or hit Ctrl+F while the source is selected. You can also click the "Edit scene" button while previewing or streaming to resize it using the red borders/handles.
