I am new to streaming but I do understand the basics. However, I am having issues with my stream being choppy and sometimes it stops for a brief moment and then kicks back in, also OBS is saying I am getting dropped frames.

Attached is my logfile from my earlier stream and here is a list of my PC specs:

Intel Core i5 4460
Nvidia GTX 960 2gb
16gb ram
2tb HDD

Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Those speeds are good. It's mostly upstream you care about for streaming. What do you have your bitrate set to, and what resolution do you stream at?

Wireless as I do not have access to wired connections unless I start drilling holes in my walls, lmao! I tried my bitrate earlier at 4500 and it was worse than 2500.

Wireless is more than likely your culprit. I dont know your living situation, but I would highly recommend simply drilling through the floor, and running a wire along the rafters if you have a basement, and then drilling another hole through the floor near your pc. the hole size you need for cat5/6 is very small. If you have absolutely no way to run a cable, another recommendation would be to move the router into the same room as your pc however, if you could do that, you would be able to have a wire. if thats not an option, if your router supports both 2.4ghz and 5ghz, i recommend trying the 5ghz band if you havent already.
