Dropped frames (network) - When GPU Maxed at 100% with 20 Upload speeds

Hello, can anyone work this out "Dropped frames (network) total data output bitrate"

Running on the latest Windows 11 system with updated drivers and whatnot. When in MSFS and streaming with nvenc, my GPU is always maxed out at 100% on my 1660ti and while my internet connection is good I start to drop ("Dropped frames (network) total data output bitrate) around 1.8% to maybe around 5% and more.

My upload speeds are 20 and my download is 60. Running my bitrate at 7000 and also at 5000 and it does it.

Should not make any sense as to why it should affect the connection when GPU is maxed out Huh!

1. Analyze the log and follow the recommendations provided
2. Use the methods in this guide

Probably your problem is in the provider or the degree of remoteness to the youtube server. In this case, you solve problems with the provider or reduce the bitrate until the network frame drops disappear. In fact, the speed of the Internet connection means nothing if the ISP cannot provide a stable streaming speed.

I just did a full stream tonight using the CPU encoding and did not drop anything ;) The only time when I lost it all was when I stopped the stream and used GPU to encode and she want FULL maxed and then it started... Only happens on MSFS2020

Other games are fine while streaming

Using x264 eliminated the encoding/rendering frame skipping issues as you just shifted the load to the CPU. As you mentioned, your graphics card is running at 100% often. This is not good, because some settings in NVENC use GPU and CUDA resources, which is why frame drops occur. You will have to sacrifice game settings or encoder options to reduce load in order to use NVENC.

if you are getting dropped frames on the network side. then it is likely a network issue or your connection to the internet. just because you have 60/20 internet service does not mean that it is currently performing at its best. the lines to your home could be damaged causing errors in the transmission, speedtests can often still come back as good even when there is a problem. it is in the prolonged connection that you really start to see the problem with the connection. (my day job is a field tech for an ISP)

Only happens when GPU is overloaded - Do you get it..?
