Question / Help Dropped frames despite good upload

on TestMy.net
Upload is between 4.3-4.5mbps (even seen it as high as 5.0 on good days)

But when I go above 2400 buffer/bitrate, I start dropping frames like crazy. I've tried lowering all my other settings, but it doesn't seem to have an effect.

If you need a log let me know

Just because your testmyupload result is 5mbit, doesn't mean it's the same to the twitch ingest servers. Like suggested above, try different ones (but most probably the lowest ping server is your best). If you're limited to 2.5mbit there - well, that's it.

Well,
That's the thing. I am lucky to live in southwest florida, which is less than 200 miles from the coast of Miami. I get 30ms to the Miami server so I don't think it's my server choice that is the cause.

edit: Apparently something happened to the Miami server. I'm going to try a different server today.
By the way, the shaperprobe link doesn't work :(

Since I couldn't get Shaperprobe to work (download link says invalid). I used Glasnost;

Is your upload traffic rate limited?

Game still feels sluggish, even though I have over 100fps in-game.
But no dropped frames.

Here's a log file from a longer game, still no dropped frames. I upped the quality to 1.5x, still the same sluggish in-game, but that's to be expected from my hardware. But I just don't understand why the game would feel slow if I have high fps in-game. Usually, a low fps makes the game slow, while higher is better.

and here's one with a lower quality.
Still, high fps but sluggish in-game. Also, no dropped frames.

Don't you have another thread about the same exact subjects? Anyway, if you're recording HD resolutions on two cores don't be entirely surprised if your game feels sluggish.

Yeah I understand.
Well I'm streaming 720p@30fps game capture and it feels pretty good in Smite. It's windows/monitor capture that makes the game feel sluggish.
