Question / Help Dropped Frames as of late

Hey there. Over the past week I have been getting dropped frames. This is not a problem that I have had before. My internet is pretty good, fibre with 100up/down generally, and it is plugged in via an ethernet cord. I'm hoping I provided everything I need to, and I'm hoping someone can help me with my issue.

you have a memory leak. windows out of date, need to run obs as admin. If you changed any drivers, consider trying previous or upgrade drivers. I'd update windows first. also update obs.

Thanks for that. I've updated Windows, updated OBS on the same day (update notification popped up while I was looking for logs to post here). Would you recommend using the "Dynamically change bitrate to manage congestion (Beta)" feature, or do you think this is all on the memory leak and doesn't involve my internet connection?

Your internet connection has nothing to do with your memory leak, unless you're implying you have a faulty network driver...
Aaand just as i check what network card you have, i read in the log you got a realtek, so onboard, but it's just connecting at... nvm too tired! lol.
You also have a beta version of the streamfx plugin. When it comes to memory leak, you need to figure out what is causing it. I'm too tired to read thru in a detailed manner atm.

I would not recommend the "dynamically change bitrate" option, unless you are starved on connection for bandwidth or such, which you're not.
See if you can re-create the problem with a fresh start, rename the obs folder to something else temporarily, and so when u start obs again, it will start with nothing. Or just make a new profile and new scene collection by using the menu inside of OBS.

Best of luck.

So I tried updating Windows, OBS, etc. I gave it a test stream on an alt account and it looks like the memory leaks are now more prevalent, as are the dropped frames. I was able to keep an eye on the frames as I streamed this time and noted that the connection briefly dipped into the red zone and then bumped back up to the green zone.

What do you mean "tried updating windows" ?

20:04:57.576: Windows Version: 10.0 Build 18363 (release: 1909; revision: 778; 64-bit) you still don't have up to date windows. Why?
You *MUST* update windows.

20:04:58.335: [StreamFX] <Nvidia Face Tracking Filter> Failed to load Nvidia AR SDK runtime.
20:04:58.351: Couldn't find VLC installation, VLC video source disabled

20:21:32.959: video settings reset:
20:21:32.959: base resolution: 1920x1080
20:21:32.959: output resolution: 1280x720
<---- change base and output to be the same.
