If I have obs up and im not even streaming or recording. I get serious lost frames and lag when im playing WoW in windowed full screen. If I switch it to full screen the lag just goes away completely. So im not sure whats causing the issue with it. I've got a pretty beefy computer to boot. Ryzen 1700 @3.825ghz 3200mhz 32gb ram rx vega 64 8gb

That just shows a successful game capture and nothing else. Please post a log file, as an attachment or as a link using a text file hosting service (pastebin, hastebin, etc.). Trying to paste it directly into the post makes it difficult to read, and they often get cut off due to post size limits.

Here is the log file

On a side note, I had both of my monitors hooked up to my rx vega 64. I put my r9 390 in with my vega and now my second monitor runs off my r9 390 and obs is set to encode off of the r9 aswell to take load off the other graphics card and I still get the same issue. If I hit autorun alt tab to obs, then obs and the game run fine with no frame drop. But if I select the game and autorun it lags out.....could it be a windows issue?

Does this happen when OBS and the game are on the same monitor, or when they're on different monitors, or both? Does it still happen if you have OBS minimized? What if you disable the OBS preview? Are your monitors the same refresh rate?

Happens if the games on the same monitor or not. Changed my main monitor to match the second monitor refresh rate same issue. disabled obs preview and minimzed same thing. Also it only happens with WoW, no other game seems to do it. But if I go fullscreen in game the issue goes away.

on a side note I have a similar issue with Skype. If Im watching a share screen from a friend its choppy and laggy but if I click on skype the lag goes away. Same thing with obs, so im thinking the issues might be related somehow?

Does this happen whether or not you have both video cards installed? Having both installed may be leeching extra PCIe bandwidth away from the RX Vega anyway. I can't think of any good reasons to have both of those cards installed at the same time.

That was the thing, I actually put the second card in thinking that obs was drawing too much from the card. So this problem originated before I put the second card in. Also I just checked, its doing it in other games now as well. I'b going to try just uninstalling and reinstalling it.
