Question / Help Drop in frames?

So when I stream WoW at 1080p on obs, I stay around 60 frames but when I stream it on xsplit, i stay around 30 frames.

Is this a problem with cpu or gpu?

I have any i7 2600k oc'd to 4.2 along with a gtx 560ti, getting a gtx 670 soon.

I also have 55 down and 11 up.

The way OBS coded to get the capture is way more efficient than xsplit is. That is the main reason. The other reason might be you are using game capture of obs which will give you way more fps than normal software capture method. It's expected, just find some settings that you are comfortable with and go with it.

And no, i don't think you have a problem with cpu or gpu.

If anything is wrong, it's Xsplit. Xsplit is simply not as good at capturing games as OBS, so it gives you a worse framerate. The two programs are not identical. I'm not sure why you would assume your hardware was at fault when it's clearly a difference in software.
