windows 11 pro
obs studio 32.0.2
droidcam app v8.2 (full version) on android (samsung galaxy s23 ultra) - connected by usb
as subject says obs studio (using droidcam obs) will only display video at 640x480. I get a black screen if i switch to a higher res and I dont know how to correct this.
I'm using the full version of droidcam app on my phone.
I can choose a higher res with no problems in droidcam client in windows 11
I can record a video in vlc media player from the droidcam app with no problems at 1920x1200 and audio sync is fine.
what's strange is I can get full res from the droidcam in OBS if I switch the source to 'video capture device'. but if I record video in obs using video capture device the audio is out of sync with the video - which is just no good. and if i record video using droidcam obs at 640x480 the audio is still out of sync.
am I missing a basic setting somewhere?
