Question / Help Driver Issues Please Help

hi, im having driver issues with obs and playing games such as fortnite, obs tells me i need to update my driver to record, and when i do it works, but then when i try to play fortnite with my updated driver it says its not recognized, so i roll back and then fortnite works but then again obs doesnt work, i dont record fornite with obs but i do use both daily and i dont wanna continue updating and rollingback all the time

OBS requires the latest nvidia drivers for you to use NVENC. If you change the encoder to something else (QSV or x264) it should work fine.

Also, I would recommend you check the laptop guide to set OBS to run on the dedicated GPU, rather than the integrated. OBS should run much better that way.

hey fenrir thanks for the advice, ill deffinatly try to get obs to ron on the dedicated gpu i tried that yesterday and it made things worse for me but maybe i did it wrong ill try again! but im a little confused what you mean changing encoders how do i do that?
