2 Issues

First, whenever I start a stream to twitch using my preferred NVENC my Nvidia Driver (390.77) Crashes and closes whatever game I may have running.

Second - I use "Game Capture" it works fine until I switch to another scene, any scene, even a blank scene, and then go back to "game Capture" and its just black. The only way to fix it is to change the mode to "Capture specific window" tab back to the game, then tab out, then its back and works OK after that.

Any help?

one thing I have noticed is that if the capture is unlock the red outline flashes every couple of seconds. I tried reinstalling the whole program with no luck.

No help at all? I have tried uninstalling my drivers with DDU and using different drivers. Still won't fix the issues. I used to be able to just hide the source but turning the eye off/on, but now it does the same, it just loses the hook.

Clearly nobody can/wants to help here even though this is a pretty major bug. But here's the latest waste of my time, I just reinstalled Windows 10, guess what, still F'in broken.

You have two game capture sources that are likely tripping over each other.

The display driver crash isn't something we can help with.

Thank you for the reply. Right now I have only 2 scenes, one Game Capture with a browser Based Overlay and another scene with just a browser source. I still have the issue.

NVENC is only causing Windows Store games to crash (Forza 7, Sea of thieves etc) which happen to only be able to run in full screen borderless mode, not true full screen.. Seems to work OK with traditional full screen games.

That last log shows that the game was captured fine and gets reacquired after "capture stopped". So i'm not sure what the problem is?

Did you watch the video? The log is only text. The video shows the truth, and the truth is I lose the hook everytime I change scene.

When the game capture becomes inactive (i.e. you change to the AFK scene) it stops hooking. When it becomes active again after you change back to the other scene, it will try to hook the current fullscreen application, which isn't a game at that time. As soon as you switch back to the game, OBS will detect the game has become the foreground window again and start hooking it.
