Yes, I've read a lot of posts about settings and black bars, but still can't seem to fix it.
I'm relatively new to OBS, but I have a pretty good understanding. Having to configure and fix this via teamviewer remotely isn't making it easy.
** Apologies cannot attach a log file until later, have to wait for client to be available. **
My client has an LG Ultrawide monitor.. 2560x1080. so her 720 resolution is 1704x720..
The setup is not using a webcam, rather a Canon DSLR Rebel t @ 1280x720 and sparkocam software.
in OBS I've set the base canvas and scaled resolution to both 1280x720 (as suggested by the broadcast site support files), its proportional but still has the black bars down the sides.
I checked the transform settings, changed the default to custom and 1280x720 resolution in source properties..
What am I missing ?
From memory the Canon DSLR only has 2 settings both 1280x720 and different FPS. This and sparkocam dont govern the resolution and OBS controls what the site sees, not the site itself. What I see in OBS is exactly what is on the site broadcasting. Any help would really be greatly appreciated..
