Question / Help Downscaling problem

I get some font problem when I use downscaling from 1080p to 720p, which can be clearly seen on this screenshot.

Otherwise everything is just fine. Can someone identify the source of the issue?

Can you show a screenshot at the full 1280x720 resolution? A tiny Twitch screenshot doesn't really show anything that is going to be relevant to OBS.

Not really sure what the problem is, this is what happens to fine details like text when you downscale them.

Currently the only way to get around this is to not use downscaling. It's got some issues with tiny text.

The Lanczos downscale filter should be able to help some, but yeah, this is a fairly common issue and is a natural result when you try to downscale content that is already really thin.

Yeah, if they are streaming in "full HD" (which usually means 1080p) that means they aren't downscaling.

The problem with downscaling text is that they are rendered with so few pixels to begin with. So when you downscale and take pixels out...well, you've already seen the results. It's 100x worse with red text btw
