Hi,
New to obs.. I use a c922 webcam and a macbook pro 2015 (specs at the end). After recording some videos that came out choppy, with desktop music not in sync with the webcam video recording, I run the auto configuration wizard and applied the suggested settings. Now the video recording is smoother and video/audio are in sync but image quality is not good. I've noticed that the wizard made me downscale the video canvas from base 1920x1080 (webcam resolution) to output resolution 853x480, which isn't even in the drop down menu, where you can find 852X480.
I don't know much about obs or computers in general, but while looking for a solution I've read in several posts here to set canvas and output canvas at the same resolution, I'm trying to understand why in order to "solve" my issue I have to downscale resolution so much. Is my macbook that bad?
2,7 GHz Intel Core i5 dual-core
8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3
Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB
Thank you in advance for your help
