Im on a 1080p monitor, so 1920x1080, and i was wondering if the 1.25 downscale is any good aka 1536x864.
I either see 1080p or 720p streams, and x864 looks so much better for 60 fps.
So mainly was wondering is if i use x864 will my viewers have a hard time watching/will there be black bars for them?

Personally I use downscale 1.50 on a 720p resolution and it still looks great to me. When you downscale it, it will downscale to a 16:9 resolution (so no black bars). I think the main reason for downscale is to reduce CPU usage (if not someone will correct me). If you're a non-partner it'll be harder for some people to watch 720p or 1080p if they don't have the bandwidth since you don't get the transcode options unless you're a partner. Basically if their internet only allows them to watch 480p they simply won't be able to watch unless you're streaming at a lower resolution they can handle or you get partnered and they give you transcode options. A lot of people should still be able to view your stream, though, so don't worry too much about it.

Thanks alot, i have an i7 4770k so mainly i just wanted to stream at 60fps cause it looks so fluid, and what was worrying me was the black bars. since 1080p 60fps you need a second PC for :P

You only get black bars when you're using a 4:3 resolution so you'll be fine :D I wish I could afford a better computer lol, I have a 4 or 5 year old laptop with an i5-2430M so there's no PC gaming for me. I have to use my capture card to stream my PS3 and unfortunately it's the Roxio and I have to use window capture until the rewrite. Good luck streaming though, hope it goes great! :)

Yeah, i was in the same boat... a pre-built from bestbuy with no graphics card for a year, then finally getting my gtx 460 that lasted me almost 4 years. then i did i job that i thought i would only make 200 bucks, and walked out with 2k and then shamelessly bought an overkill pc and i couldn't be more happy :D
Edit- only thing left to upgrade is more ram/new cpu cooler for overclocking

Hahaha awesome! If I ever come into a good amount of money I'm definitely going to put every single penny into a PC. There is another computer here, but it's a family computer so I can't game on it or stream with it since the Radeon HD 4670 doesn't have HDMI.
