My main source is a BMD 4X Extreme, fed by a 4K camera and an A&H SQ6 digital board. The camera shoots the entire width of the stage that consists of podiums on either side and a large table in the middle. There is a scene called "Master" that is the unprocessed camera shot.
Almost all my scenes are made up of the master scene, cropped to what I need. I have one scene where I bring in the Master scene twice and crop the right and left side, essentially giving me a split screen of both podium.
Someone came to me recently and told me that the stream volume went up considerably whenever that Split scene was used. I see no difference in the audio meter. .
Does it do that because the audio source is duplicated? If so, is there away to mute one just for that scene?
