Hey, so I recently upgraded my gpu after having my computer for 3 years. I haven't had issues other than slight FPS studders on certain high-intensive games. The gpu change I made was a gtx 770 2gb to a 1060 6gb. I didn't notice a big change, which sort of surprised me seeing how the 1060 seemed to be a massive change on paper. Also, I seem to have trouble with double monitors while playing games, giving me fps issues. My last concern is when live streaming was that streaming while using 2 monitors seemed to effect fps immensely, even on very low intensity games (tried games like roblox / minecraft which even that I had issues). Any advice?
Specs:
intel i7 4820k (3.7ghz) - not overclocked
Nvidia GTX 1060 (6gb)
16gb ram
FPS Examples:
League Of Legends: 120-150
Player Unknown Battlegrounds (I know it isnt optimized well: 20-65
Rocket League: 150-250
CSGO: 300 (double monitored 200-275)
My main question is: Is it worth spending the 400-500$ on upgrading my cpu / motherboard / ram, or should I just deal with it?
Stream Settings:
1280x720 rescale
3000 bitrate
Veryhigh preset
