It seems to run perfectly fine with OBS closed - I have tested this for over 15 minutes of gameplay and confirmed that the issue does not occur. However, as soon as I open OBS, either 32- or 64-bit, DotA starts to behave strangely. It almost seems as if it "jumps back" a few frames. As in, it will RUN perfectly fine, but it will display a frame from a second or so ago, then return to the current frames for a few milliseconds, then jump to another old frame, etc. etc. More interesting still is the fact that viewers on twitch do not see this behavior when I use game capture, but monitor capture shows it (I usually use game capture, but I was curious if monitor capture would behave this way). It seems as though the application itself is running normally (since game capture sees it running normally) but is being output to my monitor incorrectly.
It is worth mentioning that this issue started about a week ago when a new driver was installed, so I believe it to be related to that driver in some way. With that said, I am having trouble finding the older version of the driver to see if the behavior is replicated there.
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 750M (this is a laptop)
CPU: i7-4700MQ
Driver version: Nvidia listed as 358.50 (windows device manager displays version as 10.18.13.5850)
Apologies for not including the OBS log, as I believe it to not contain any relevant information. If it is ultimately necessary, please let me know. To be honest this seems to be an issue with DotA and the new Nvidia driver, but only when paired with OBS, so perhaps I should seek help on another support forum for either Nvidia or Valve?
