Question / Help dose the new update support gifs and plugins?

This update does not support GIFs. It does support the loading of arbitrary plugins, I believe, but nobody has written any plugins for it yet, and you can't use plugins from the original OBS.

You can't write a plugin without some level of programming experience.

GIF support will be implemented as part of the program. As for plugins, that's up to third-party authors just like it is with OBS1.
