Question / Help Doom beta crash without error

Hi,
I try to stream Doom beta but the game close every time without any message or error. It's the only game with this problem.
I have a AMD HD7950 on win7.

Here's my differente tries :
With OBS :
- Game launched, start stream with obs remote plugin -> game close after 1 sec
- Game launched, alt+tab, launch stream -> game close after 1 sec
- Start stream, launch the game, wait for intro videos, when I see the menu -> game close after 1 sec (but I can see the menu on the stream during this 1sec)

With obs studio :
- Same tests but not the same problem, the game didn't crash but the stream is frozen on the menu after 1sec

I tried with or without anti-cheat hook, as admin, 32 or 64bits ...

DOOM Open Beta simply won't show up in OBS Studio for me; every other game works. Seems like there is a compatibility problem with AMD cards?

I'm experiencing the same issue. Can't game capture it without it crashing.

OBS classic w/ CLR browser 64bit
Windows 10
R9 290X
 
Did you guys make sure your not launching it through Raptor? right when you start the game it states its not compatible, im been running it and streaming it with out any problems

im running A8 7650k and r7 360 and havent had any issues with crashing

I'm playing through Steam, and am able to launch the game and everything works fine. I get audio on my stream, but it is just a black screen even in 64bit obs.
I was hoping someone figured it out but i guess i can just use something else.

sometimes when my obs wont pick up the game i will alt tab out, and wait for obs to show my screen then go back into the game and that usally fixes it for me

I didnt even have raptr installed

I also tried the alt-tab and as soon as the DOOM game came up it would crash

this is of course all moot unless the actual release game causes the same problem. I wonder if the DOOM beta was detecting OBS as a cheat. A friend of mine was using it sust fine but was running OBS on a second PC.

Same issue here now in full release as well as was in the beta. It looks to be OpenGL/AMD issue and it doesn't seem to be any workaround at the moment..

Was having the same issue, but I found that it works fine if you use monitor capture in OBS. It makes me sad to see that Bethesda has done so little to support AMD GPUs.
