I've been using OBS since 2018 to record YouTube videos. Have never had an issue. Until last month. Suddenly, OBS started losing frames while I recorded. Not a stream. Just a basic recording. And it's been happening more and more frequently. I tried looking up fixes but everything I saw was for streaming issues. Someone recommended I post here and see if y'all can help me out.
I know enough to get things up and running. But none of the information in the logs means absolutely anything to me. I'm more of a content person than a tech person.
It happens several times in this video here. There's a moment right at the beginning, then another one at 36 seconds, then they continue throughout: click
Another semi-strange thing. Whenever I check for updates, it tells me I'm on the latest update. But I just saw 28.02 is available? Shouldn't it be telling me to update?
