Question / Help Doing Picture-in-Picture increases volume

Hello all. I've been using OBS for 5 weeks now to livestream my church's sermon. We have various glitches, but I'm only going to include one in this post. Probably because it should be the easiest to fix, but I cannot figure out how.

I am running Powerpoint on the same computer I am using OBS to stream from. So capturing the Powerpoint display is easy. But it seams that whenever I stream the PIP scene (Powerpoint in PIP over a camera input) the total volume streamed (and recorded) increases slightly. When I go back to not PIP the volume returns to it's original level.

I am getting my audio from an audio mixer connected to the analog input on my OBS computer. In the advanced audio properties I have muted the output on all active sources except for the analog input. For inactive sources I have decreased their levels all to -50.0 dB. So it appears that the only sound I SHOULD hear is the one analog audio source.

Link to Example Video. The first example of volume level increase is at about 0:15. I switch back an forth PIP/no PIP so one can hear it a few times.

Can anyone explain my issue?

Thanks,

Your PIP scene seems to include the scene "projector" as a source which in itself has the "Audio Input Capture 2" source. So you get the audio twice.
