doesn't record video, just a black screen

records audio just fine when I set up the sources, but video just doesn't seem to show up no matter what. all the permissions are fine and I followed like a thousand tutorials, restarted my mac a bunch of times while trying different things and reinstalled obs couple times.

I have an intel mac

The latest version, 33.0.1, still has the exact same problem—all captures are just a black screen. What’s most frustrating is that I can’t remember which version I was using before, and now even after randomly downloading and trying several different versions, they all show a black screen and are completely unusable.

After testing, I found that version 32.0.4 works normally, and all types of captures are no longer showing a black screen.
