Question / Help Does OBS work with just ALSA?

I have been trying to get OBS working with just ALSA, but can't seem to hear my desktop sounds. Microphone works fine. Maybe I just added only microphone source, but can't seem to find where to add desktop/game audio source.

And then I was wondering does OBS work with only ALSA? I don't want to install pulse-audio.

You should be able to add an Audio Source directly to a scene. I've done that for my USB mixer which I've added as an ALSA audio source.
