Question / Help Does OBS Studio support AMD's VCE?

Hey guys,
I currently have an nVidia card, and I have set up my OBS Studio to capture using nvidia's codec.
Now I know that it is possible to record high bitrate (50 000 kbps) then send it over to my encoding PC receive it with njinix server and encode/stream it there using OBS Studio.

My question is if that game footage capturing would work with AMD's VCE codec (we are still talking about 1080p60FPS and 50 000 kbps)? I am really looking into loosing the minimal FPS in-game possible on my gaming PC, while recording gameplay just like with ShadowPlay and sending it over through the network to my other PC. I don't really want to use a capture card, but I would if I really have to.

My current gaming PC specs are:
i7 5820k.
gtx980 (going to upgrade to either 1080ti or Vega10)
16gb ram.
128gb ssd.
2tb hard drive
My streaming PC specs are:
i7 3770
integrated graphics
16gb ram
256gb ssd

Ok, and when is that build expected to land? It looks promising :)
