Question / Help Does OBS need "disk usage" while streaming ?

Currently my OS went down due to fact that my SATA for OS and softwares died. So now I have only SATA2 500gb. Can I use same HDD in 3 partitions for OS, software as OBS and game at the same time ? I know that SATA2 usage is around 100mb/s but lately I'm not sure does that affect my performances ?

Thanks. I need ssd asap for games but I cant at the moment.

Even if you were recording a live stream to your hard drive it would be writing at maybe 0.5 MB/s. Write speed isn't going to be an issue unless you try to make a local recording with really crazy quality or bitrate settings.
