Aside from the times where you want to pause recording to do something off camera, being able to pause the recording is extremely helpful if there's an unexpected interruption such as a phone call, someone at the door, etc.
Does OBS not have a pause button?
Before anyone says "You can just stop recording, start again, and put the footage together", I'm brand new to recording. I have no idea how to edit, hell, I uninstalled an editor because it was too difficult to understand.
