Question / Help Do you need a widescreen monitor to stream in HD?

I have a 1600x1200 monitor, does that mean i cant stream in HD? If i can, can you tell me how? Thanks

You can stream in whatever resolution you want by setting a custom resolution in OBS. However, if you want to stream in a 16:9 aspect ratio but the content that you are streaming is fit to your monitor, you will have to get a 16:9 monitor or else you will be stick streaming in a 4:3 resolution.
