Hello, I'm having a serious problem with the obs and the Diablo 4 game. The obs simply freezes when I play the beta of Diablo 4. I've been doing lives since October 2022 daily and this has never happened to me. I tested other variants of obs and the same thing happens, it freezes. My pc is good, 5900x/32gb/rtx 3070/ssd/m.2. This is not just happening to me, other people who do livwe are experiencing the same problem.

Please read and follow directions and recommendations on the analyzer:

Most probably, as it was previously mentioned, this issue is due to HAGS.

So there are thousands of people doing live on the diablo 4 obs and they are not having problems, some streamers I know have done 16/20 hours live and had no problems

Others have reported the same or similar behavior, and apparently turnming down ingame settings seemed to fix it for them.

But also as PaiSand stated, do turn of HAGS (Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduler) in the windows settings. It only hurts streaming performance on Windows 10.

Hello,

I'm also having this problem with D4. I'm on W11 and I will turn of HAGS to see if it helps. I'm just curious, why is this a problem only with D4 and OBS? I'm not expecting anyone here to know why D4 is causing the issue but I have streamed so many other gams without this ever being a issue. Is there a setting in D4 I could possible look to turn off/on that could be an alternative?

Well HAGS off didn't help. I'm going to chalk this up to Diablo 4 beta problems. People were reporting issues with game from alt tabbing out of the game (just anyone not ppl streaming). I noticed this last time I did that and then OBS crashed shortly after. Not OBS problem I assume since I never had this problem elsewhere.

Diablo 4 seems to use an extreme amount of video memory so there may be issues related to that.

Open your task manager and watch your GPU Ram usage. Turn down the settings a bit, that you have at least 1GB of ram left. Fixed it for me. As example, bevore i had near 8GB usage with 2K resolution and high settings.
