Do "hidden" Sources matter during recordings?

I usually create a separate Game Capture for each of my games, and a single Display Capture for my main screen. During any given recording I have the "eye" icon greyed out for all the games except the one I'm playing & recording, meaning all but one are "muted". Is there any theoretical reason why this would conflict with a recording? I notice the muted games still show up in the log file, and at least one person suggested it causes problems (no details).

Thanks.

Display capture interfere with game and window capture methods, so you have to put it on it's own separated scene.
Having multiple game captures is redundant. You don't need it. If a particular game needs a special setting within the game capture source, then it's a good practice to set it on a separated scene.
The more sources you add the more resources you're using and more stress for the system.
Hiding a source only does that but it still load and use resources.

Even some times it's better to have different scene collections just to not get a cluster of demencial build of scenes+sources.

Ohh I see. So it sounds like I should've been using Scenes in this way instead of Sources. You can have multiple Sources in one recording, but you can only have one Scene at a time. Great, thanks!
