Question / Help Do GIFS work on OBS for Mac?

Thats what one would think. I did try that and started a test stream to see, but the GIF would not animate.

yes there is, you have to download the plugin that lets you use chrome key then go into the plugin in obs copy and paste the web url of the gif in the browser portion and vola you got your self a gif in mac OBS

sorry not called chrom key but it works as one for websites and for twitchalerts it's called BrowserSource

right now moving gifs being put in via the imag plugin inobs makes image stand still

At some point, I'll be making a video source plugin that will enable this capability natively (animated gifs, video files, among other things)

I kind of 'need' this functionality these days so if this was removed from the task list please put it back on for some day in the future ;-)

You can add GIFs with the Media source.

Doesnt work. Gif works the first time it is inserted and doesn't repeat after that.
