Question / Help Do an external device to encode exist?

Hello,

I saw on the web some device like avermedia LGP 2 Portable who have an encoder integrated in the box, but i would like to know if it's to possible to adapt it in a particular situation?

The thing that i want to do is to set up the device (LGP 2 or other and NOT HD60 S) on my hdmi port, then connect the device to my screen. Duplicate my displayport screen on to the device ( i suppose that the device will be detected as a new screen on windows) and then select the device as the new encoder in OBS. I have a good GPU so i think it can assume double screen.

Or if you know another device that can unload my cpu?!

OBS isn't able to use many external encoders. The only encoders supported are software x264 and the hardware encoders on Intel (Quicksync), Nvidia (nvenc) or AMD (vce) GPUs. Encoders on capture cards are not supported. Today, these are only available to the propriety software that comes with the capture cards.
