Question / Help DJ Mix through OBS to FB Live

hi,
new to this, i am planning to do a live dj set through facebook live this week, ive been searching online and intend to use OBS, i under stand the stream key etc, and intend to use just my PC webcam for video, but what about audio? do i need an audio interface or can i just connect from mixer into mic port on PC? if so where do i find the source for this?

any help would be much appreciated,

Technically, you could use the mic port.... but don't. There's a lot of issues:
- Mic ports expect a very low voltage level, meaning you have to be very careful with the output level from your mixer
- Your laptop has a "headset port", which actually means "4-pole 3.5mm". This would require an adapter to put the mixer signal on to the mic connection (search for 4-pole headset adapter)
- This port only has one channel for the mic, so mono only
- These ports are usually not the greatest quality (intended use is for low quality headset mics)

So... yeah. You could. But you shouldn't.

If your mixer doesn't have its own USB output, then get a proper interface.
