Question / Help Distorted sound problem

Hey, I am having trouble getting the sound to work with obs while streaming. Here is how it behaves right now http://www.twitch.tv/ifeelprettylow/b/368705843

select the microphone as your microphone device.

from windows audio settings (recording devices) make sure the mic doesn't play to any devices

Done that, still behaves the same. Mic is fine, can use it with no problems on skype etc.

are you listing to audio through a normal audio jack or digital?

i have heard of this before and it was fixed by disabling all windows audio enhancements on your default playback device + choosing a cd quality preset for the format

Well I have my headphones plugged in directly in the sound card slot for headphones with 3.5mm jack. Same goes for mic.
As for the second part, I disabled the 20db boost and changed from dvd to cd quality and it did changed a bit in better but it's still pretty distorted.

your problem is fixed..all you have to do now is not listen to your stream preferably not watch it full time as that causes other performance issues.

Yep, just tried it out on my laptop and it's fixed, thanks for the help! ^^
