Distorted sound on screen recording

Trying to record some gameplay (for example)

I'm trying to capture my screen and screen (pc) audio in OBS Studio. e.g. to record gameplay etc.

I've followed various instructions with different audio settings but can't quite figure it out.
Audio is coming through on the recording but really bad quality (as if its coming from the screen through my PC webcam mic, however that is disabled)

My setup is a GTX3090 connected to LG C2 TV via HDMI.

I'll work my way through the the things in that report when I get a chance but is his some sort of known error perhaps - any idea where to look first?

You're capturing your desktop audio twice: once via Settings > Audio > Global Audio Devices, the second time with a source called "Audio Output Capture". Remove one of these sources, so they don't overlay the same audio over each other.

I removed the audio device "Audio Output Capture" and now the audio works :)
BUT
now its not capturing video and I didn't touch that!

I guess that's a tomorrow problem... 1:00 AM I'm off to bed :)

OK I was still having video issues so went to post today saw an OBS update, and that has fixed it! Coincidence? Probably.

Anyway it's working now.
